The Buying Process
Ordering a book trailer is a big decision. Here’s a few answers to frequently asked questions about the Ink in Motion creation process:
- How do I buy?
Simply Please feel free to contact us at email@example.com to begin the ordering process. Please be sure to include any discount codes you may have in the body of your email. Billing will be through PayPal, and payment must be completed before work will begin.
- I don’t have a PayPal Account, can I still buy?
You can create a free PayPal account or pay via credit card through PayPal, but please make sure to note in the ‘comments’ section of the ordering page if you have an alternate email you would rather we contact you at.
- You keep talking about discounts – how do I get one?
There are a couple of ways, the easiest is to click on the “More” link in the header, and sign up for our mailing list. You’ll receive a discount code in your email immediately. The second is to attend one of Nathan’s talks on book trailers. If you’d like to schedule him to talk to your writing group, please feel free to contact us.
- Do you sell or share emails?
No, never. In fact, we only use your email to provide you with a discount and inform you of sales, new videos or speaking engagements.
- What if I change my mind, or don’t like the final product?
We work closely with our authors to try and assure that the final product is satisfactory. For more information on returns, please see “Returns & Cancellations” below.
- How does this work?
After you’ve purchased your package, you will receive a confirmation email. If you’ve ordered a trailer, you will be contacted within 48 hours concerning your vision for your trailer and to initiate any file transfers necessary. Over the course of video production you will be updated weekly on progress of your film. We may, from time-to-time clarify questions or request your opinion about various aspects. We promise a 48 hour response time for any questions or concerns you direct to us.
If you’ve ordered scripting, you will be contacted within 48 hours with a request to join a DropBox file share. DropBox file sharing allows you to retain control over your manuscript while allowing us to read it in order to create the script. It’s also free.
- How long will it take?
Due to current volume, our time frames are as follows:
- Video Pitches, Animated, & Stock Video book trailers: 45 days.
- Full feature trailers: 3 months
- Scripting: 3 weeks
